Certificate
of Registration
issued
on August 16th 1998 to Rick
Bellefeuille for
pride of ownership of the
1948
Streamliner Station Wagon Deluxe
as
identified below :

Since contacting me Rick has decided
to sell this car. Anyone know a person who could complete a restoration
of this type? It takes a special person (or in my case "crazy"
since I have two!) to get involved in a task this big. But when it is finished
a Woodie is a very special automobile.
Rick tells us about his Pontiac:
The
car is in absolutely horrible condition, but is still complete. The
original owner was Ernest Kime, and his nephew is trying to find
where he put the original window sticker that was always framed at Uncle
Ernest's house. I'd seen this car for years and finally acquired
it with big hopes. Unfortunately, I'm convinced it's more work than I'm
able to handle. I am hoping to find someone with
the heart and pocketbook to restore it.
Please write back or give me a call at 303-649-5326.

Rick Bellefeuille

More history of this car:
My '48 woody was first purchased in Valentine, Nebraska from Archie
Mullen who owned Mullen Brothers Equip.
Rick sends a good news update!
I have
some pretty cool news. It's looking very positive that my '48 woodie
WILL be professionally restored. I found a man whose been out of
the woodie business for 5 years, and has a portfolio of show-winning stuff.
We're still working out a deal, but he's definitely anxious to take this
one on. If it works out, I'll look forward to sending you "work-in-progress"
photos when I can. More later....
Take care,
Rick Bellefeuille
Rick, Good news indeed! Good Luck to you. Yours will probably be done before
I even get started on mine!
Second Update
Well, Rick has informed me that the deal was made and the wagon will be
getting a full restoration by the new owner. Rick has also let me know
that since the new owner is not "a computer guy" he would keep us up to
date and send the new photos when some work gets done. Certainly the new
owner has much to do, and I think we all can agree that his restoration
skills are more important then computer skillls right now. Let's hope it
turns out nicely and let's all be happy that another one is on it's way
to a brighter future!
