Jim tells us about his Pontiac:
            Hello,
The car currently has 36,000 miles on it. The only items I"ve had to replace are the tires. The car has the original radio. I drive it to work daily, 50 miles round trip, but not in winter or nasty weather. The condition of the body and interior is incredibly original and good. No rips or tears, no rust or dents anywhere although there are a few stone chips in paint. It's like driving "Garfield" down the road!
I found your web site using a multiple search engine called "askjeeves.com" and typed in the words "1947
Pontiac". Simple as that. I just filled out your registry request form and am including a .jpg photo as an attachment with this e-mail. Please use the photo with my information.
                                                                                                        Thanks, Jim

And I do appreciate the nice job you did sending in the info and beautiful picture. It looks to be a real clean car. It is always great to see one in such good original condition.
                                                                                                                    Thanks-Don
