Here is a start to help identify Canadian Pontiac models
On March 17  I recieved this e-mail from 48 Canadian owner Jack Paul:
        Hi. Don,
If I remember correctly you were having some trouble identifying Canadian models for the web pages. You may recall when I registered I said I would investigate, & get back to you. Canadian models are a bit of a miasmic, but here goes.

All 2000 series---sales code [Fleetleader Special]
All 2200 series---sales code [Fleetleader]
All 2500 series---sales code [Torpedo Six]
All 2700 series---sales code [Torpedo Eight]
All 2600 series---sales code [Streamliner Six]
All 2800 series---sales code [Streamliner Eight]
Hope the above will be of some help, if you need anything else, give me a shout, I maybe able to help.
             Jack Paul [48 Coupe]
Thanks Jack, that helps a bit. The 25-28 series' look the same as the U.S. versions, but what is the difference in the 20 and 22 series?

I also have some info sheets that were sent to me quite sometime back. They are scanned from the Canadian manuals. I will get them linked here next.

Just this week I decided that it would be better if I seperated the Canadian models and started totaling them alone. Up until now I had been adding them in with the Torpedos. So far 3 have joined the registry. There are 2 42's that I am waiting on to join. I need the pictures for one, and for the other I have a photo but it is too cold to get the numbers off of the car! Let's hope for an early spring.
Jack also had some very detailed info on production dates for his car. They seem to have been better documented than U.S. models. I will hunt for that info and make it available to you soon.
