Ted found the site through the ad in Smoke Signals, the magazine of the Pontiac Oakland Club Int. (POCI)
Ted tells us about his Pontiac:
This Pontiac was purchased in 1976.... so you can see "Silverstreak" has become a part of the family. Each member of the family had a part in the first restoration. (1977-1980) The second restoration has just been completed, with new paint Genesse Green  and a fresh tan Convertible top.
The show/cruise season has just ended in Michigan, and "SilverStreak" was not ready for these activities....So off to storage until next year.
Thanks for creating the registry....Remember, Pontiac is more than GTO's

Welcome Ted! You are the first Convertible owner and also the "senior member" of the registry. (Or at least the senior of the members who have given their age.) I am proud to have created this site for you and others like you. I have only driven as a passenger in a 48 on the way home from a car show. I have yet to drive my own or any other car that old. I consider you fortunate to have grown up with these great cars.
Feel free to send along any stories of the great times you have spent behind the wheel of your Pontiac. I know that us "younger members" would enjoy hearing them. Many of the people signed up here, myself included are just starting out on full restorations and could use some advice on that matter also. Congratulations on your 2nd restoration of the same car. It looks really great with that new top and fresh paint.  -Don

Here is another great photo. Notice that like all Convertibles the dash is not woodgrained but it is painted to match the bodycolor.
