Billy tells us about his Pontiac:
Well I got mine before they were all gone! And it's another one that will not die a slow death of metal cancer. She was born in Pontiac, moved to Chicago, and now spends her golden years in the heart of dixie "ALABAMA"
For an old gal she is in great shape, she is still pretty much original except for the front seat, (missing, need one, hint,HINT) Someone had already swapped the original seat for buckets, out of a van I think. Not much rust due to many coats of paint and undercoating which must have been applied when she was new! And I've got to tell this, she was found for me by my wife. (pretty good ole girl isn't she?)   I'll keep you posted on the progress of the restoration.
One question do you know of anyone who might have a wiring diagram for these cars? I've got a Chilton manual but it leaves a little to be desired. Ok enough with the beggin for this time, once more you have done a great job with the site.

    Billy,
Thanks for the support and enthusiasm. I hope somone will be able to find a front seat for you. Make sure it is the fold-forward type that belongs in your car. I am not sure if a Torpedo and Streamliner shared the same seat. If I had to guess I would say yes, but check it out first.
I think somebody should have a wiring diagram also. I might be able to find one here myself. If someone can scan one and send it along I will be glad to add it to the site.
