Bill tells us about his Pontiac:
I bought this car in October 1992 for $450.00. It was sort of complete but extremely rusty! It was way too far gone to even consider restoring to original and besides, I like street rods and customs better anyway.
The inner rear fenders and trunk innards were not really there so I rebuilt them. I got NOS rear fenders, molded them in and rolled the rear pan under. (The bumper was bent badly.) I also had to rebuild complete rocker panels and quarter panels. The frame also had rust through in front of the rear axle and needed repair and boxing.
I worked on it for 5-1/2 years and just got it on the road this summer. Drove it 4k miles in 4 months. It is very comfortable to drive and we're enjoying it finally. Hope you like it too! We'll be in Buffalo for 1999. See you there?
