John tells us about his Pontiac:
The car was restored 2 years ago but final finishing touches are currently being made. When restoration started, the original mileage was 47,000 and after last years touring it is now about 53,000. It has all the goodies of the deluxe model and is a knockout.  Great job on your part. Many thanks. -John Gilmore

Thanks for the kind words. It has been a lot of fun and I have met many nice people. I hope we are getting to know each other as our numbers grow. If I had met John sooner I would have dropped in last summer as we drove right by Shelton Washington on our trip to Vancouver Canada.
I mentioned to John that in 1970 when I was 12, our 64 Chrysler New Yorker burned out its torque converter and we were towed (with the house trailer behind) to a motel in Shelton. We were there for two days while the necessary repairs were made. I remember it as a nice quiet town with a stream running through it. I bet there were still a few old Pontiacs (possibly even John's) in town at that time. -Don
