 Merle tells us about his Pontiac:

    My car was originally built with a 6 cyl. and hydramatic. The previous owner changed it to an 8 cyl. with standard shift.
I started restoration in Oct. 87.  It was presentable and dependable in time for our "Sugar Valley Rally". (June 4th -6th)
My wife Ruth and I drove it as the pace car for 2 days with no problems.  Looks great and sounds like fun too! -Don
