Jim tells us about his Pontiac:
I bought this car in 1977 after graduating
from high school in Lititz PA. and after restoring some mechanical items
and driving it for a few years, decided to restore the paint. After I stripped
all of the chrome and paint my Dad started rust repair [of which there
was very little] and body work. I searched the Hershey flea market
for all the NOS chrome parts I needed, but as time passed the car was pushed
to "the back burner" until last summer when Dad suprised me with a beautiful
paint job. I towed the car home [now in Marietta GA] and plan
to wet sand and polish before putting the chrome back on. Future
plans include door panel upholstery, dash woodgraining, wiring harness
and a carbuerator rebuild. I can use any advice or help on these projects.
