 Tom has a question about his Pontiac:     "Attached are two (bad) pictures of my car in progress.  I just started at the first of June, so I have along way to go.  My car has a marking on the side that says Silverstreak, but I don’t see anything on your page about it.  Do you know if that’s right?"
Yes that side hood emblem is correct. The 8 cyl. emblem looked like this  Silver-8-Streak. We are waiting for some new pictures when you get farther along. I hope that is not "Pontiac blood" on the shop floor! (in the top picture.) -Good Luck!
