Jim Oyster tells us about these Pontiacs:
            Don,
I finally got to the junk yard and rounded up the numbers. The junk yard has been sold and the prices have gone way up. The guys that bought it are cutting up the junk and plan to put the cars on a web site in a few months. Here are the numbers. I have the pictures and will send them later. The numbers are as close as I could get them. Some of the plates were in
bad shape.
The junk yard is on a county road off of state Route 47 near West Mansfield, Ohio.

It was interesting to note that all six cars were from the Pontiac Michigan plant. And 5 of the 6 (which is all that had both plates) showed ACC codes on their large ID plates.

                   Previous yard owners,
Excuse me for being a little hard on you at the top of the page.  It really is not your fault that these cars ended up where they did. But I do think you may be responsible for tipping them on their sides, like stranded turtles left to cook in the sun!  Don't think I will ever forgive whoever did that!
At least they have not been made into cubes of metal by that crusher machine (Yet!).  Maybe they still have a few parts to offer. Better hurry though.
We honor them for the service they provided.  If only they could tell us their stories. We have their serial numbers  recorded, but the stories of their lives will sadly remain untold.           -Don
