Jim answers and asks a few questions us about his rare Pontiac:
My car has the split front seat and a full back seat. I will get apicture off to you in the next few days. I am so happy to find other old Pontiac owners.
My car has chrome external hinges on the trunk lid. Is this original? The paint no. is just 00 what does that mean? I think the car was a gold paint originally.
I have found an old junk yard with three or four 46-47 cars. Many good parts.

        Jim,
That is the first time I have ever heard of a split front seat! Did any other models come with this set up? Also I may have seen the exterior trunk hinges previously but never noted them before. Who else has these? I suspect only the 2527 and 2527B had them.
Jim may have set a record when he sent 17 pictures of his car. I will use some of them on the Photo Album page and am hoping to see some work in progress updates soon.
I will wait for you to grab the parts you need and then maybe you can share the location of that "junkyard" with the secret stash of Pontiac parts. Next time you are there be sure to "grab" the numbers off of the ID plates and I will be happy to add them to the database.  Also maybe you could drop a line to Billy Daughdrill and tell him where he can get a front seat for his 48-2607.
Also the paint code 00 was used on Black cars. Although your yellow/brown is pretty eye catching it was not original (either was Gold) as you have noted in your signup form. What  color will it be next?
Thanks-Don
