I have been told that a fire unfortunately destroyed some records that would have told us just how many of each body style were produced. The information that I have found can only tell us how many of each series and year were produced. A fellow Nat'l Woodie Club member told me that had read there were only about 800 to 1000 of the wooden bodied models made each year but I couldn't get any more accurate figures than that. One can only guess how rare or common a particular model was. The ones that remain can give us a clue, only as to which ones were popular for restoration or which ones survived.
